On May 28th, from 1 to 2:30 pm, we have a highlighting talks session where we expect workshop participants to give a brief 2-minute talk about their work and how they expect to use AERPAW. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your work and also market your poster for a prize:-) If you plan to have slides for your talk, please name them as <firstname>_<lastname>_lightningtalk and drop them in this folder.
Lightning Talks Awards
Participants will vote for the talks, and the top three lightning talk presenters will receive a prize as indicated below.
- First prize – $200
- Second prize – $150
- Third prize – $100
Lightning Talks Scoring Rubric
- Clarity and effectiveness of verbal communication (35%)
- Visual design and presentation quality (30%)
- Relevance to AERPAW and potential for experimentation (25%) .
- Note: If there is potential to test the idea in AERPAW, participants should receive a higher score. If the idea is already tested in AERPAW or elsewhere, that is great, but it does not necessarily earn a higher score.
- Time management and adherence to schedule (10%)
