Link to Dataset

  • Dataset Link: The dataset contains processed .csv files from raw LTE SISO experiments, with the position information of the UAV in terms of latitude, longitude, and altitude, along with RSRP measurement during UAV flights in the AERPAW Lake Wheeler area, using a MATLAB-based simulation framework and AERPAW Digital Twin for both simulation and emulation scenarios. The data is organized into three folders: fixed_trajectory_rsrp_emulation, fixed_trajectory_rsrp_simulation, autonomous_trajectory_rsrp_simulation. The dataset is available on [Dryad].
  • The source code of the simulation framework can be found on [GitHub].
  • Dataset and post-processing scripts are also available on [GitHub].

Equipment and Software Used

Matlab, python, AERPAW Digital Twin

Description

This dataset includes simulated and emulated RSRP and throughput measurements for UAV trajectories around Lake Wheeler using the AERPAW digital twin. The data were generated using a MATLAB simulation framework calibrated with real-world measurements. Three datasets are included for simulation and emulation environments.

Each dataset contains .csv files with the following columns:
Time, Longitude, Latitude, Altitude (m), Speed, RSRP, SNR, Data rate

All results are reproducible using the provided post-processing scripts.

Representative Results

The figures present RSRP measurements from four base stations (LW1–LW4) for both fixed and autonomous trajectories, along with throughput and distance over time for the autonomous trajectory, and include comparisons between emulation and simulation environments.
