Our AERPAW Field Operations Team headed to the flying field for a special mission: flying an experiment designed to compare real-world testbed results with those from the digital twin environment.
This work is an important step toward strengthening our hybrid experimentation framework—giving researchers the ability to prototype, validate, and refine their wireless and autonomous systems experiments both physically and virtually. By aligning outcomes from the testbed and its digital twin, we continue to enhance experiment reproducibility, accelerate innovation, and empower our community with more flexible and scalable tools.
